An amazing and iconic piece of 70's design, this fabulous and eye-catching red plastic 1978 Phillips 423 portable record player can be played wherever you go!

In full working order and has been fully PAT tested. Works in mains operation and in battery operation (6x 1.5 volts size D) .

In lovely condition for age and in full working order, a few minor scrapes to the plastic casing but a wonderful and rarer piece of space age design in a very cool colour. Only flaw is that the catch is no longer working due to a perished spring, which means if you do wish to take it out and about you need to put a strap around it so it doesn't open whilst being carried. Doesn't affect it's use and this is reflected in the price (with these record players selling for upwards of £200). I have replaced the cord for a modern and safety tested one as its original cable was a little worn.
