1960'S Toni Raymond Pottery Celery jar.

Perfect kitsch kitchen piece to display your celery, flowers, utensils, pencils etc.

Height: 14cm
Width: 8cm

Each celery jar was hand painted by the potters and artists who worked in the Babbacome studio in Torquay during the 1960's. This means each jar is slightly different, though following the same base design set by Toni Raymond. Some are painted with big elaborate leaves that look like palm trees and others with big fat stems and tiny heads. All are stamped on the bottom with the Toni Raymond potters mark.

I have a number of these (due to my mother's celery jar obsession, who has been collecting them for the past 20 years). I will pick one at random for you, all are in good condition bar some crazing and small age marks and each is a special little piece of wholesome potters history.
