A stunning and unusual set of 3 antique Stoneware jugs with moulded cherubs design, one large, medium and small with a bluey grey glaze.
Very similar style to the iconic Ironstone Stoneware jugs from the 1800s.
These jugs are from the same mould as the "Vintage" cherub jugs from 1850 by Bradbury, Anderson and Bettany (I'm not sure if this is an authentic set from the same makers but it's possible, and one jug by Bradbury, Anderson and Bettany can go for £250+)
Lovely clean condition, a few small marks,flea bites and nicks and a small chip on the base of the smallest jug, but nothing to detract from these stunning and rare jugs.
The largest jug measures approx 18cm tall and 18cm wide (spout to handle) , the middle is 15cm tall and 15cm wide and the smallest jug is 13cm tall and 13cm wide.
