Beautiful and unusual Parian Victorian vase in the shape of a hand holding a posey of forget me not flowers.
From some research I believe it is Victorian (if not earlier), these vases were popular during the Victorian era as their likeness to marble allowed a little grandeur into the lower classes homes and this slightly macabre style (similar to what you might find on a Victorian grave stone) is very of the era.
This vase is in good vintage condition, howvwe does have a small chunk missing from a layer of porcelain ( photographed)
