Beautiful and unusual white milk glass vase in the shape of a hand holding a flower.
Extra special as it has been handpainted with a pretty flower and lucky horse shoe design.
From some research I believe it is Victorian (if not earlier), these vases were popular during the Victorian era as their likeness to marble allowed a little grandeur into the lower classes homes and this slightly macabre style (similar to what you might find on a Victorian grave stone) is very of the era.
This vase is in wonderful condition for a piece this old, there are virtually no flaws and it is a stunning piece.
